Brand photographer Brighton & Hove | Portrait session with Saskia, founder of Portray Your Story
Back in the Summer I did a lovely portrait session in London with my dear friend Saskia, a fellow family and brand photographer, based in Bromley, South London. She even took photos for me as well (the portraits you see of me on this website are taken by Saskia!).
To get my own photographs taken really helped me understanding how it feels to be in front of the camera. It is so important to go through the process yourself in order to guide my clients better. I know it can be uncomfortable and I definitely felt a bit out of my comfort zone, but a great portrait photographer will make you feel at ease, something Saskia definitely did!
We had so much fun on the day of our shoot. The sun was out when we went into Central London and I believe we chatted (in Dutch!) non-stop. We picked St Dunstan’s in the East as the start of our brand photoshoot and wanted to end the session at Borough Market where we had a lovely (albeit slightly overpriced) Thai curry. It really was a perfect day and I hope we can do another portrait session of each other this year!
