Brand Photographer in Brighton | brand photo shoot with Christine from Circle Psychology

A few years ago, in lockdown, I embarked on a personal project called “Doorstep Portraits” - for which I took photos of hundreds of families around East Dulwich, South London. This is how I met Christine and her family - they posed in front of their house for one of my portraits back in 2020. Then, just a few months ago, she got back in touch and booked me in for a half day brand session. What an honour!

Christine is a clinical psychologist and runs her own practice in Dulwich Village. We started our shoot at home, where her practice is based, and took some natural business portraits as well as some detailed shots of her favourite books, her business cards and some other props. Storytelling photography is so important when it comes to brand photography, so showing off who you are, what you do and where you work, will let your potential clients see what your small business is all about.

After the indoor photos we headed outside to take some more creative natural portraits in and around Dulwich Village - such a perfect place to take some portraits. Before living in Hove, we lived in East Dulwich so I always love going back to our old neighbourhood. I know the area very well, and loved taking some headshots for Christine at the Dulwich Picture Gallery - the building offers some great backdrops.

The day flew by and I am so pleased with how Christine’s photos turned out!
