Portrait Photographer Dulwich | A Portrait session with Emmanuel from Scholarius Consulting
One of the best things about being a portrait photographer is meeting so many wonderful people. I photographed Emmanuel on a gorgeous, but cold, winter day back in November. He runs a private tuition and education consultancy in London and needed to update his business portraits for his website.
Prior to our photo session I had the pleasure of doing a half day brand shoot for Christine, Emmanuel’s wife. So I spent a lovely day in Dulwich Village, South East London, where both of them are based. I went for a stroll in the park, did a bit of window shopping and had lunch at Oru, my favourite place in East Dulwich.
My portrait sessions are short and sweet and take place at an outdoor location of your choice. Emmanuel chose the have his headshots taken in Dulwich Park which worked really well as a shooting location. South London is spoiled for choice when it comes to outdoor locations when seeking the perfect backdrop for headshot sessions. From lush parks to urban cityscapes, the variety of environments ensures that every client's personality can be authentically captured.
Apart from photographing people in Dulwich Park, I also love taking portraits in Brockwell Park, in Herne Hill. If you’re looking for something more urban and modern then the rooftop bars in Peckham provide a perfect backdrop against the London skyline.
If you are thinking of updating your own headshots, and you live in South London, then I’d love to hear from you!
