Brighton headshot photographer | Portrait session with journalist Daniele Hamamdjian

Daniele contacted me via Instagram to enquire about my headshot sessions, and was after “something urban and absolutely not corporate, but appropriate for work”. This was obviously right up my street, so I suggested some locations and we ended up taking her professional business portraits in London Bridge, all around Borough Market.

I think that, as a portrait photographer, I attract other creative business owners and freelancers, who are looking for natural and authentic images of themselves, instead of the more traditional, more old fashioned, type of headshots.

I absolutely loved Daniele’s portrait session in London as we were really able to let her personality shine through. We went for a very candid and documentary style for her headshots and I am so pleased with how these images turned out.

Obviously it helps that Daniele, as an international news correspondent who has covered everything from Brexit and the war in Ukraine war to the Olympic Games and even royal weddings, is such a natural in front of any kind of camera. But don’t worry, whether you’re a seasoned pro like Daniele, or someone completely unused to having your picture taken, together we’ll get the perfect shots for you and your business.

London Bridge is the ideal location if you like your headshots to stand out from the crowd. There are so many colourful graffiti walls to play around with, and to use as a backdrop. Daniele and I explored Borough Market, we did a few lovely portraits in and around Borough Yards, and ended our portrait photography session at Monmouth Coffee Company (have you tried their coffee yet? It’s seriously good!).
